第4問Aは問18から問25までの8間です。 話を聞き、それぞれの問いの答えとして最も適切なものを.選択肢から選びなさい。問題文と図表を読む時問が与えられた後, 音声が流れます。

問18 ~ 21

先生が、保護者向けのイベントについて、当日のスケジュ一ルを生徒たちと確認しています。話を聞き、その内容を表した四つのイラスト(① ~ ④) を,スケジュールに沿った願番に並べなさい。

Let's review the schedule for Parents' Day. The event will open with a performance by the chorus club. Next, we had originally planned for the school principal to make a welcome speech. But he prefers that the president of the student council make the speech, so she will do that. Instead, the principal will make the closing address just after the live performance by the dance team. Finally, a small welcome reception for parents will be held following the closing address. I think we're all set for the big day.

分析:これまでの4コマ漫画の問題と異なり、複雑になっていますね。The event will open with a performance by the chorus club.のところで、最初は③だと分かります。その後、we had originally planned for the school principal to make a welcome speech. But〜「 次に、校長先生による歓迎の挨拶をする予定でした。 でも〜」

とあるので、次は①ではありません。

he prefers that the president of the student council make the speech, so she will do that. 「演説は生徒会長の方がいいので、彼女がやります」とあるので、2番目に②がきます。そして、

 Instead, the principal will make the closing address just after the live performance by the dance team. 「代わりに、ダンスチームによるライブパフォーマンスの直後に校長が閉会の辞を述べます」とあるので、最後に④→①となります。答えは③→②→④→①となります。

聞こえてくる順番通りではないこともあると気をつけておきましょう。
